EO/IR Systems

Integrated Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) Systems combine daylight cameras, thermal imagers and other advanced sensors within a single stabilized observation platform. Designed for continuous day-and-night surveillance, these systems provide reliable detection, recognition, identification and tracking of objects across different lighting, weather and environmental conditions.

The electro-optical channel provides high-definition colour imagery and long-range optical zoom for daytime observation and detailed target verification. The infrared channel detects thermal radiation, enabling observation in darkness, low light, haze, smoke and other reduced-visibility conditions. Operators can switch between imaging channels or use image-fusion and picture-in-picture modes for improved situational awareness.

Depending on mission requirements, EO/IR systems can integrate cooled or uncooled thermal detectors, high-resolution visible-light cameras, laser rangefinders, laser illuminators, digital compasses and GNSS positioning modules. Precision-stabilized gimbals or pan-and-tilt platforms maintain clear imagery during airborne, vehicle-mounted, maritime and fixed-site operation.

Advanced image processing can support stabilization, enhancement, automatic target detection, classification and continuous tracking. EO/IR systems can operate independently or receive target coordinates from radar, RF detectors and other sensors for automatic cueing and visual confirmation.
